Embodied

Flow

is a four-week progressive series designed to teach you the foundations of steel mace movement while helping you cultivate strength, mobility, coordination, and confidence.

Together we'll learn individual movements, understand why they matter, and gradually weave them into a fluid, creative flow that you'll build by the end of the series.

why the steel mace?

At first glance, a steel mace looks intimidating.

But once you pick one up, something shifts.

Because the weight sits away from your body, the mace challenges your balance, coordination, grip strength, core, and posture in ways traditional weights simply can't. It asks you to use your whole body as an integrated system instead of isolating movement and muscles.

The result?

You don't just get stronger.

You become more connected, coordinated, and resilient.

The mace teaches your nervous system to organize your body more efficiently. It improves mobility while building resilience. It encourages your mind to stay present as your body learns new patterns.

It's strength training that feels more like moving meditation.

What You'll Learn

Over four weeks we'll progressively build your skills through:

-Foundational & complex steel mace techniques

-Safe movement mechanics

-Grip transitions

-Rotational strength and power

-Shoulder mobility and resilience

-Core integration

-Balance and coordination

-Flow principles

-Creative sequencing

-Breath and body awareness

Each week builds on the last, helping you gain confidence without feeling overwhelmed.

Train Your Brain, Not Just Your Body

Every time you learn a new movement pattern, your brain gets to work.

As you practice unfamiliar mace techniques, your nervous system begins building and strengthening neural pathways through repetition. Your brain learns to coordinate both sides of your body, improve timing, refine balance, and make complex movements feel increasingly natural.

This process—known as neuroplasticity—is one of the remarkable ways our brains continue to adapt throughout life.

The steel mace is especially engaging because it asks your body to solve movement "puzzles." Rather than repeating the same motions over and over, you'll develop coordination, spatial awareness, reaction time, and whole-body integration.

And then something magical starts to happen...

The movements become less mechanical and more intuitive.

Discover the Power of Flow

Flow is that state where you're fully immersed in what you're doing.

Your attention settles into the present moment. Your body and mind begin working together instead of competing for your attention. Time seems to move differently, and movement feels less effortful and more expressive.

As your confidence with the mace grows, you'll spend more time exploring this state—not by forcing it, but by creating the conditions for it.

Many people notice that practicing movement in this way helps them:

Feel more present and grounded

Improve focus and concentration

Build confidence through skill development

Reduce mental clutter by directing attention into the body

Experience movement as both challenge and play

Because when you're learning, adapting, and creating, you're doing more than exercising.

You're expanding what your body—and your brain—believe is possible.

Your Coach

Hi, I'm Megan.

I'm a movement educator, yoga teacher, and total anatomy nerd with a deep love for biomechanics, somatics, and nervous system resilience.

Yoga is at the heart of everything I teach, so even when we're swinging a steel mace, my approach is about far more than building muscle. I help people move with greater awareness, confidence, and connection to themselves. Expect thoughtful coaching, accessible progressions, and plenty of moments where things just click.

With certifications in Kinesiology Yoga, Steel Mace Vinyasa, and functional movement, I love introducing people to the incredible versatility of the steel mace through a mindful, embodied lens.

Whether you've never picked up a mace before or you're ready to deepen your practice, I'd love to help you discover why so many people end up completely falling in love with this unconventional tool.
